Welcome to the Department of Chemistry at Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management (DSATM).
Since our founding in 2011, the department has grown into a hub of academic rigor and scientific curiosity. Chemistry is often called the central science, and for good reason, it bridges engineering, healthcare, and environmental sustainability, giving our students the scientific grounding they need to think critically and innovate across disciplines.
What sets us apart is our faculty: a team of highly qualified, research driven educators whose expertise spans nanotechnology, biomaterials, synthetic chemistry, polymer science, and environmental chemistry. Their work reflected in peer reviewed publications, funded research projects, and industry and academic collaborations has earned recognition through numerous scientific awards, and it shapes a department where research and teaching genuinely reinforce one another.
Our curriculum is designed to strike a careful balance between theoretical depth and hands on practice, delivered through modern, well-equipped laboratories and teaching methods that evolve with the field.
