The School of Architecture, Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management, presents an interactive Place Making Workshop led by Akash C. R., Principal Architect, Layers Collective. The workshop will explore how spaces can be transformed into meaningful, vibrant and inclusive places through observation, mental mapping, case studies and collaborative design exercises. Drawing from his experience in architecture and urban design, including work with DULT, Space Mysore and IIHS, Bengaluru, the session will introduce students to people-centred approaches to shaping public spaces. Participants will explore the qualities that make a place successful and reimagine spaces through creative, contextual and inclusive design.
